IT Specialist

Location: Service Operation Centre in Cebu

Position Summary

As an IT Specialist, you are responsible for supporting and handling IT tickets, incidents and service request, IT asset management, end-user support, server, and cloud services such as M365. You will work on external and internal projects, providing high quality results to ensure that our business commitments are met and that our clients are satisfied.

Your Responsibilities

Depending upon your level of expertise and experience, your responsibilities may include:

  • IT Infrastructure, Systems and IT Security Project management and implementation.
  • Provide first-level IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Monitor and manage IT asset inventory, ensuring all equipment is up-to-date and functional.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for purchasing IT equipment.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including system setup and access management.
  • Maintain IT documentation, manage user accounts, and conduct internal IT training.
  • Assist with configuration and implementation of IT systems and tools.
  • Monitor IT systems using device and backup monitoring tools.

Your Competencies

  • Experience with installation and configuration of software and application (Engineering software is an advantage).
  • Knowledgeable on Microsoft Windows (Servers and Desktop OS) installation and Microsoft M365 administration.
  • Knowledge on Active Directory, DHCP, DNS management.
  • Familiarity with Dell PowerEdge rack server and NAS storage server or equivalent.
  • Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V hypervisors and other virtualization technologies.
  • Understand TCP/IP network hardware, configuration technologies.
  • Knowledgeable in using app development tools like Python, JavaScript, Visual Studio and or other programming tools.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL preferred.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience in corporate client interaction.
  • Strong English-language verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment, producing high quality results and with positive problem-solving attitude.
  • A desire to master new technologies and solve problems.
