Senior Accounts Officer

Location: Service Operation Centre in Cebu
Position Summary
The Senior Accounts Officer will oversee financial operations for TecSurge’s Corporate Head Office (CHO) in Singapore and the Service Operations Center (SOC) in the Philippines. This role ensures financial health of our company, the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures, accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting practices across both locations.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for CHO in Singapore and the SOC in the Philippines in the following areas:
- Accounting
- Financial Reporting
- Invoice Assistance
- Financial Audit Preparation
In line with your level of expertise and experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Process SOC invoices.
- Check, verify, and approve the online upload of payroll.
- Liaise with the BIR, PEZA, SEC, and LGU to meet all agency requirements for the company’s periodic compliance, reports, and submissions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Administer accounting operations to meet legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions.
- Record accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Update internal systems with financial data.
- Review and implement financial policies.
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Reconcile bank statements.
Your Competencies
- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Proficient in Xero.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in the accounting field.
- Excellent organizational skills and expertise in handling time-sensitive tasks.
- Experience with SAP, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is an advantage.
