Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Location: Service Operation Centre (SOC) in Cebu

Position Summary

As an HR Assistant you will support the HR Manager with a focus on recruitment and administration to align the needs of the organization with those of employees.

Your Responsibilities

  • Recruitment:
    • Source talents via our online portals, such as LinkedIn and Job Street.
    • Conduct initial interviews/screening of candidates.
    • Monitor interview logs and employee requests form.
    • Conduct new hire orientation/onboarding.
  • Administration:
    • Provide clerical support to the HR department.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
    • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
    • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all are collected.
    • Assist with event planning.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Compliance:
    • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits, health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Attendance:
    • Assist monitoring attendance data, such as overtime and holiday pay, and answering attendance-related questions.

Your Competencies

  • Graduate qualification in Psychology, or related degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Employment law preferred.
  • Human resource practitioner preferred.
  • Experience acting as the intermediary between employees and management preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience demonstrating integrity and result-oriented actions.
