Solution Engineer – Material Management

Location: Service Operation Centre in Cebu

Position Summary

As a Solution Engineer, you will provide technical support, advice and services for Material Management using SmartPlant Reference Data and SmartPlant Materials to our customers. You will work as a member of our service centre team in Cebu on external and internal projects, providing high quality results to ensure that our business commitments are met and that our clients are satisfied.

This position requires understanding new products and technologies, in order to solve technical problems.

Your Responsibilities

Depending upon your level of expertise and experience, your responsibilities may include:

  • End user support for applications used by our customers
  • Managing and administering applications for our customers

Your Competencies

  • Experience in Specifications and Catalogue load files preparation for 3D engineering tools
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Material Engineer
  • Experience using or managing SmartPlant Reference Data and SmartPlant Materials in the plant design industry is an advantage.
  • Experience using or managing applications used in the plant design industry (e.g. from Intergraph, AVEVA, Bentley or Autodesk) is preferable
  • A graduate qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with troubleshooting Windows or software applications
  • Flexibility and efficiency in working in a dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality results
