Solution Engineer - SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID)

Position Summary/Purpose

As a Solution Engineer, you will provide technical support, advice and services for Instrumentation products primarily SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID). You will work as a member of our service centre team in Cebu on external and internal projects, providing high quality results to ensure that our business commitments are met and that our clients are satisfied.

You will be expected to be interested and flexible in understanding new products and technologies and apply creativity to solving technical problems.

Your Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Familiar with the workflow in Piping & Instrumentation Diagram design and is proficient in the use of SmartPlant P&ID modules.
  • Provide user support, administration, maintenance and coordination services for SPPID application and data.
  • Required to produce procedures and work instructions related to SPPID.

Knowledge in the following tasks is an advantage:

  • SQL
  • Drawing Template Development
  • Specification Modification
  • Symbol Development
  • Report Customization

Your Competencies

  • Previous experience in projects using SPPID
  • Graduate qualification in Instrumentation Engineering or similar
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Customer and solution-oriented approach
  • Industrial understanding
  • Database knowledge (Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server) desirable

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage
